Anne Richardson is a passionate advocate for raising awareness of Oregon's rich animation and cartooning history. She is the founding director of Oregon Cartoon Institute. Anne's expertise lies in researching the contributions made by Oregon artists to American animation and cartooning history and sharing that knowledge in public history/arts education events designed to celebrate and inform. Her organization, the Oregon Cartoon Institute, works in partnership with institutions such as Oregon Historical Society, Hollywood Theatre, and University of Oregon to create public history/arts education events in the Portland metropolitan area and beyond. Anne holds an MFA in Film from Columbia University in the City of New York.
