Carlo Macchi is a seasoned software analyst and project manager with a wealth of experience in financial services, e-commerce, and management information systems. He graduated from Universidad ORT Uruguay with a degree in software development and project management. He worked as a Supervisor of Systems at OCA S.A. for 14 years and led significant projects, including the maintenance of the front-end of authorization systems for Ocacard and VISA. He founded Quaris Soluciones, a software development company that specializes in loyalty and promotion management for financial institutions. Carlo is also a co-founder of PagosWEB/SiemprePago, the first Uruguayan pasarela to obtain a PCI-DSS Level 1 certification, which was acquired by Bamboo Payment Systems in 2020. Today, Carlo continues to work tirelessly in his passion for e-commerce and payments. He is actively exploring emerging technologies and services to improve and innovate his services.
