Olie Smart is a driven and accomplished digital expert with 14 years of experience in the advertising industry. Smart has worked with a diverse range of brands across different sectors such as technology, telecommunications, gaming, finance, retail and FMCG, charity, public sector, and pharmaceuticals. As a digital specialist, Smart has a particular passion for exploring new ideas and trends that improve communication, brand engagement, and usability, ultimately creating a better customer experience.

Smart's expertise includes digital marketing strategies such as web, comms, social media, eCRM, mobile, digital utilities, and digital content. He has also managed and developed pan-European campaigns and has helped create bespoke digital tools and content for various brands.

Outside of his professional work, Smart is also an enthusiastic adventurer. He has journeyed the length of India on foot, uncovering untold stories of India's independence and partition. He also undertook the Amazon River Run, where he walked 400 miles from the river's most distant source to where the river flattens out, and then kayaked the remaining 3,600 miles to the Atlantic. Smart has also taught himself filmmaking, including camerawork, directing, scripting, editing, and producing for his documentary about India's journey.

Currently, Smart is a Senior Account Director at Zinc Network. He previously worked as a filmmaker and adventure planner and expeditioner. Smart's other past positions included being a Business Director at VCCP and a Digital Marketing Manager at Samsung Electronics.
