Milad Afshar

Milad Afshar is an experienced professional with a strong passion for connecting and collaborating with entrepreneurs, innovators, technologists, scientists, and investors to address complex societal and business challenges.

He is committed to democratizing Future Literacy and has a background in startup operations, team building, product innovation, and research and development, particularly focusing on exponential technologies within the health and biotech sectors.

Milad holds a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology with a specialization in Advanced Materials and Electrochemical Devices from the University of Alberta. Additionally, he pursued a Master's degree in Nanotechnology at Sharif University of Technology and completed his studies in Materials Engineering at Shiraz University.

Throughout his career, Milad has held key roles in various organizations, including being the Co-Founder & CEO of Neurosense Technologies, CTO at NeuronicLABs, Director Of Product Development at NeuronicWorks Inc., Director - Advanced Materials & Biosensors at Myant Inc., Director - Energy Storage & Harvesting at Myant Inc., Co-Founder at Frux Energy Inc., and Research Associate at both the University of Calgary and The University of British Columbia.
