Anshul graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering - Wireless Communications, and studied Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Pondicherry University. He continued his education at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, where he earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy, Finance, and Marketing.

Before his leadership role in Product Management at Amazon, Anshul held various positions in Finance at the company, including Senior Manager of Finance for US Consumables, Head of Finance for NA Outbound Transportation, Finance Manager of Toys, Tools & Home Improvement, and Sr. Financial Analyst of NA Supply Chain, and Sr. Financial Analyst Intern - Merchant Services. Prior to joining Amazon, Anshul also worked as a Project Manager at UC Academic Health Center.
