Thomas Atwood

Thomas Atwood is a data scientist with a passion for using machine learning and statistical analysis to tackle social issues, currently employed at ClearMetal, a start-up.

He holds a Master's degree in Management Science and Engineering with a focus on operations research from Stanford University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Dartmouth College.

Despite transitioning from English literature to engineering, Thomas values both fields equally and views the journey as a rewarding experience.

His educational background also includes participation in the LEAP Program specializing in Systems Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Boston University.

In his career, Thomas has previously served as a Data Scientist at AutoGrid Systems and as a Queueing Systems Research Assistant at Boston University.
