Chris Williams

Chris Williams is a Cybersecurity manager with extensive experience in the field. He has worked in various positions related to cyber and information security and has honed his skills in a range of areas including risk management, security governance, compliance, security policy, security architecture, security technology, cloud security, and more. Chris attended Crown Woods School and has worked in different roles at News International, where he was an Information Security Engineer for a time, and eventually, he was Information Security Officer at News UK before becoming Cybersecurity Manager at ITV. Today, he holds the position of Head of Security Risk at ITV, where his expertise comes into play, overseeing InfoSec GRC for 3rd parties and cloud technologies, delivering Security-related projects, and Incident management. Chris is also known for his consultative approach, where he consults business teams on fostering a culture of simple, practical steps to secure people and their data. He brings to the table his calm approach to coordinating and managing security incidents from an operational perspective while liaising with business and technology stakeholders. His soft skills make him skilled at facilitating within different business units, flexible and adaptable to different working environments, a short learning curve, a self-starter, and a team player.
