David Shaw is a highly motivated and passionate executive with over 25 years of experience in information technology and security. With proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills, Shaw has built and maintained information security programs in both centralized and decentralized environments. He studied at Franklin University and Walden University, where he earned an MBA and completed graduate coursework in business management respectively. He also pursued graduate coursework towards a PhD at Nova Southeastern University and earned a BSS at Ohio University.

Shaw has held several leadership positions in his career, including Chief Information Security Officer at UCLA Information Technology Services, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, University of Southern California, Purdue University, and State of Ohio. Additionally, he served as the Deputy State Chief Information Security Officer at State of Ohio and as an Information Security Officer at Ohio Department of Education. He has also worked as an Information Security Consultant at Independent Consulting, Security Consultant at The Longaberger Company and Reserve Police Officer at Newcomerstown Police Department.

Shaw is currently the Founder and President at D Shaw Consulting and Training, Inc. where he helps organizations develop and implement information security programs.
