Paul Penley, a Ph.D. holder in New Testament from Trinity International University, is a skilled nonprofit evaluator, author, and teacher. He has worked in over a dozen countries, assessing nonprofit leadership, finances, strategy, and impact. He has extensive experience measuring outcomes for both international and local organizations and presenting research at prominent conferences like Philanthropy Roundtable and YALE. He has also authored books and written articles for various magazines like Alliance, OUTCOMES, and Stanford's Social Innovation Review. Paul has founded his own company Bible Explainer, where he teaches Bible interpretation, backgrounds, Gospels, and New Testament. He has also worked as managing director, research division at Excellence in Giving, affiliate faculty at Colorado Christian University, adjunct professor at Columbia International University, professor at Moody Bible Institute, and field researcher at Compassion Coalition of Knoxville. He completed his Ph.D. at the age of 28 and has studied in Israel, Turkey, Greece, and Egypt.
