Ashley Douglass is a renowned event planner and former professional actress who has brought her passion, creativity and industrious spirit to bear on some of the most high-profile events in New York City, tri-state area, and across the country. With a background in acting, hospitality, and psychology, Douglass has worked with high-end clients and repeat customers to create meticulously planned and flawlessly executed events.

After studying psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles and earning a BA in psychology from Purchase College, Douglass went on to study marriage and family therapy at Fairfield University. She then honed her skills working with some of the most prestigious hospitality brands in the country, including Marcus Samuelsson, Wolfgang Puck, and Steven Hanson's BR Guest. Additionally, Douglass has been on the opening consulting team for more than 11 restaurants, providing expertise and support in hiring, training, and project management.

Currently, Douglass is the Owner & Creative Director at Ashley Douglass Events, one of the most sought-after social event and wedding planning companies in the industry, located in Greenwich, Connecticut, and Midtown Manhattan. With a reputation for trust and excellence, Ashley and her team manage everything from high-profile corporate and charity events, to more intimately scaled private gatherings.

Looking to the future, Douglass is committed to building upon her success by launching a new sister company in late 2020, expanding her expertise and creativity to even more clients and events.
