John Ellison
John Ellison is a seasoned professional with a passion for improving the auditory experience for individuals with normal and impaired hearing. A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and University of Arizona, John holds degrees in Architectural Acoustics and Audiology/Audiologist, respectively. His career has been dedicated to researching, developing, optimizing, and verifying signal processing algorithms in auditory devices, middle-ear, and cochlear diagnostics. John has worked as a Clinical Audiologist at Sonus Hearing Care Professionals and a Research Audiologist at Boys Town National Research Hospital and Starkey Hearing Technologies. He has also held the position of Sr. Product/Feature Manager, Research Audiologist - Research and Development, and Sr. Hearing Systems Engineer at Starkey Hearing Technologies, Interacoustics A/S, and Eargo respectively. Currently, John serves as a Senior Behavioral Research Scientist at GN Group, where he continues to contribute his expertise to enhance the quality of life of individuals with hearing challenges.
