Derek McFarland

Derek McFarland is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in investment banking, management consulting, and engineering.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School, where he was recognized as a Palmer Scholar. Prior to his MBA, Derek excelled in Civil Engineering, earning a B.Sc.(Eng.) with First Class Honors from Queen's University. He also pursued studies at Crescent School.

Derek has a strong professional track record, having served as an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs. He previously held the role of Investment Banking Summer Associate at the same institution. Before transitioning to investment banking, Derek gained valuable experience as a Senior Consultant in Management Consulting at KPMG Canada. He began his career as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) at WSP, where he honed his engineering skills.
