Pekka Timonen

Pekka Timonen is a seasoned software professional with a remarkable background in managing demanding projects and leading teams towards success. He holds an M.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Chemistry from the University of Jyvaskyla.

Pekka has held various managerial positions in several notable organizations such as Rovio Entertainment, Maventa, Rightware, Futuremark Corporation, CapGemini, and VTT. His expertise in project management, team supervision, steering groups, and change management, among others, has made him a valuable asset in these organizations.

As Manager of IT Services at Rovio Entertainment, Pekka has been overseeing the company's IT services and infrastructure, ensuring that they align with the organization's goals and objectives. Previously, he held the position of Customer Service Manager and Project Manager, Tools at the same company.

With his experience in managing benchmark business units, building up start-ups, and recruiting and outsourcing talented individuals, Pekka has become an expert in various technologies, including Windows and mobile platforms. He is also a certified Agile/SCRUM practitioner, making him proficient in Agile methodologies.
