Jerrell Davis is an accomplished professional with a diverse range of experiences. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from New Mexico State University where he studied Communication, Journalism, and Civil Engineering. Davis attended Hatch Valley High School in New Mexico where he graduated second in class. Prior to that, he attended Idabel Jr High in Oklahoma and Elementary Schools in Premont, Texas.

Jerrell has been a successful business owner and manager. He is currently the Innkeeper/Owner of Inn on La Loma Plaza, a boutique hotel in Taos, New Mexico. Previously, he was the General Manager/Owner of KZYR-FM "The Zephyr," a radio station located in Vail, Colorado. Davis has also been the Owner/ General Manager of Telephone Communications Corporation and Rocky Mountain Cable TV, both based in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Davis has had a diverse range of professional experiences. He has worked as a bartender at the Hilton Hotel, a news photographer at KOB-TV, and a cook at Jefferson Street Soup Company. Jerrell has also been a Cameraman, first stretch and turn, video tower at Santa Fe Downs, an Outside Salesman at Midwest Liquor and Wine Company, and a ShopKeeper at The Liquor and Wine Shop. He has worked in engineering as an Engineering Co-op student at New Mexico Highway Department, Physical Science Laboratory (PSL), and as a road construction worker at Highway Construction Company. He has also been a news photographer and TV news stringer and film maker for KELP-TV, KROD-TV, El Paso; KOB-TV, and KGGM-TV, Albuquerque, and AP News.
