Melissa Agnello, PhD, is a highly accomplished biomedical science professional, with expertise in human microbiome science, infectious diseases, microbiology, molecular biology, and genomics. She holds a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics from the University of Southern California, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Clinical, Biomedical, and Translational Investigations, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from The George Washington University. Dr. Agnello has a proven track record of success, with over 10 years of experience in both bench and clinical research and an extensive publication record. Her scientific expertise and strong interpersonal and relationship management skills have been developed through her work in academia and industry. Dr. Agnello has experience in partnership and academic collaborations, and she has held several key positions, including Senior Customer Success Manager at Komodo Health, Scientific Director and Co-Founder at M2Biome, and Research and Collaborations Lead, Medical Affairs at uBiome. She was also formerly an Academic Partnerships Specialist and Postdoctoral Scholar at uBiome and a PhD Candidate and Intramural Research Training Award Fellow at the University of Southern California and the National Institutes of Health, respectively.
