Reach Potential Movement exists to empower under-resourced youth and families to reach their highest potential.  As a founding board member in 2008 and Reach Potential's first Executive Director in 2009, I led our nonprofit's growth to five staff overseeing programs and operations.  Our greatest community impact was the establishment of Gateway Neighborhood Center, a 32,000 square foot athletic, family and community center primarily for the North Sunnyvale Neighborhood.  We received Project Cornerstone's Community Values Youth Award in 2013 in part for this collaborative accomplishment.  Key program initiatives are: - Bookshelf in Every Home Project:  an early literacy and Kinder preparedness project for over a 1,000 students and their families from Mountain View, San Jose and Sunnyvale. - Dream for College Project:  providing approx. 800 under-resourced youth a "college for a day" experience at Stanford University. - Reach Potential's Zumba, Baile Folklorico and Parent Projects

Executive Director

Led congregation in local and global mission efforts. Approx. 90 people served overseas each year in short-term opportunities. From 2006-2008 we established partnerships in Kenya, China, Thailand and Cambodia and funded two orphanages, community development projects and long-term missionaries. Locally, we developed programs working with at-risk youth that grew into a non-profit-- Reach Potential Movement.

Missions and Family Pastor

Provided leadership and spiritual care to 200 plus college students at church, College Life and Athletes in Action at UC Davis. Responsibilities and accomplishments included:• hiring, directing and training college and youth interns• leading core ministry programs: weekly campus meetings, small group ministry, retreats, short-term mission trips and campus outreach effort• church wide: preaching, teaching, counseling, baptism and connecting congregation to localimpact opportunities

West Regional Director:Led 30 staff and 700 student-athletes in movements of evangelism and discipleship at 14 colleges throughout Ariz, Calif, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington. Responsibilities included:• leading regional staff conference, pioneering and directing West Coast Summer Camps, and Northern California Winter Retreats.• led national AIA team in strategic planning process (2001-2003)Campus Director:Led evangelism discipleship, shepherding and fund development for ministry at Stanford. Pioneered Cardinal Life (collaborative between various ministries) in 1999, led team of 3-4 staff that served over 100 university staff, coaches and student-athletes. Responsible for raising annual budget of $100k plus as the director.
