Kevin W. Tung
Kevin W. Tung is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with a diverse background in finance, technology, and venture capital. He is currently a Partner at Interplay Ventures, a New York-based venture capital firm, where he focuses on identifying, investing, and supporting early-stage startups with compelling business ideas.
Before joining Interplay, Kevin was the President of Columbia Venture Community, a community of entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators affiliated with Columbia University. He is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a global network of chief executives with a shared mission of creating better leaders through education and idea exchange.
Earlier in his career, Kevin co-founded Image Space Media, Inc., a digital ad technology company that was acquired by Vibrant Media. He then served as Vice President of Business Development at Vibrant Media, where he played a key role in expanding the company's business and partnerships.
Prior to that, Kevin worked as a General Partner at Chinese Contemporary Art Fund, a private equity and venture capital firm focused on investing in China's contemporary art market. He began his career as a Financial Analyst at Robertson Stephens and Banc of America Securities, where he gained valuable experience in investment banking and financial analysis.
Kevin holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University, where he was an active member of the entrepreneurial community and helped launch several successful startups. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring new cultures.
