Karina Fernandes is a bilingual curriculum designer, teacher, and teacher-trainer with extensive experience in English-language teaching. After earning a degree in Advertising and Publicity at the Universidade de São Paulo, she pursued postgraduate studies in Multiletramentos e Ensino de Línguas Adicionais at Instituto Singularidades. Fernandes has designed and implemented bilingual programs, interdisciplinary projects, and assessments for English-language courses. She has also trained English teachers and bilingual assistants and taught English and English literatures. Formerly Pedagogical Coordination of the English Department at Escola Móbile, Fernandes now works at Colégio Vértice as a Curriculum Designer and Docente da Língua Inglesa. She is also a former examinadora oral for Cambridge English exams, including YLE, FCE, CAE, and CPE at São Paulo Open Centre. In addition to her teaching experience, Fernandes has also worked as the Director of Tutoria Linguística Online at OnEnglish Online and as an English Teacher at Sociendade Brasileira de Cultura Inglesa SA.
