Threshold affirms that the torch of liberty should be held aloft to encourage peace and prosperity for all citizens of this planet. Regarding music as a potentially intrinsic bond between all peoples and cultures, it presents the work of songwriters, composers and performers to foster a healing connection to all people on planet earth. Boots on Manhattan is the first part of a trilogy called The Foot Soldier.ABOUT BOOTS ON MANHATTANThe novel is a coming of age story about Thomas 'Boots' Raymond, who  like Ray Boylan, co-author of this book, successfully joined the U. S. Marines when he was 15.  Boots' enlistment  in the novel is an attempt to avoid the retributive bloodshed of an enraged gang leader, “Snake” Lacey, who holds him responsible for the death of his father and his best friend. The story chronicles Boots role in the forming of the West Side Warriors, set on retaliation against ‘Snake’ Lacey’s gang for a former injustice.  The retaliation is apocalyptic and humiliating, sending Snake on a course of murderous self-destruction. Yet, during this time, revelations half-revealed in the secret diary of Snake’s father, Sergeant Max Lacey, shed light on the advancing shadows of the Korean conflict.  Snake finds out his father was originally a copywriter for a radio station in Detroit in the 1930’s, hoping for aa shot to play the Hornet in their new, breakthrough series. Rejected for the role, Lacey finds  himself later emerging as a  real world hero in brutal combat in the Philippines. But much later, after World War II,  the possibility of Max Lacey’s mysterious and possibly treasonous activities emerge. Representing  Patricia Welch’s Collection of Classic Standards from Past DecadesNew Galaxy is now representing an exciting project from Patricia Welch, creator of a fabulous 45-song 3-CD set called “Great Entertainment – Cocktails, Dinner and Dessert with Patricia.” She has carefully chosen some of the greatest hits songs from the 1950s to the 1990s which showcase her sensitive and sometimes profound interpretation of these great classics. Samples of her songs in this album can be found by clicking below as well to a full two-hour YouTube broadcast explaining the history of many of these songs and Patricia’s effort to take on a massive challenge to create her own contemporary version of hit songs covered by some of the greatest pop singers of all time.

ABOUT WEST SIDE WARRIORWest Side Warrior is the memoir of Ray Boylan, a Korean War veteran whose post-war career was spent as a crime-fighter New York. Growing up in the upper West Side in New York City in the 40s. he helped form the Panthers, a youth gang engaged in various mischievous bouts with the police, air raid wardens and other teen gangs. Inspired by war movies of James Cagney, John Wayne and Humphrey Bogart. Ray longed for a life of danger and valor. Little did Ray realize that, he would enlist and be accepted into the US Marines at the tender age of 15, training with the legendary, amphibious Division Reconnaissance Company. By 18, Ray found himself fighting in North Korea, near the Chosin Reservoir, in the coldest battlefield in the world. After his decorated service in Korea, he became a crime-fighting apprentice of investigator Dan Danforth whose memoir, The DA’s Man, became a TV series. Later, Ray worked with the Waterfront Commission, policing corruption.Then he joined the New York D.A’s Career Criminal Bureau. His surveillance led to the famous Mafia Appalachian Bust. As US Treasury Agent, , he protected political superstars like Richard Nixon and Hubert Humphrey during NYC visits. Edited his autobiography, upon which the film is based and helped promote it through press releases and booking interviews for articles and radio shows.  Helped develop edit and/or write <a href="http://www.paulwinchell.com">www.paulwinchell.com</a>, including shopping cart to sell autographed books, DVD’s and photos. Helped start Paul Winchell’s Kid’s Network, a streaming website developing programming for children, but never actually launched.. Helped develop plan to archive and preserve old shows and to market them through retail outlets and through syndication, as well as webcasting them on his children’s network. Helped resurrect old African aquaculture project, originally “Africa Today,” with contact in Kenya- with hopes of creating non-profit foundation to fund breeding and harvesting of Tilapia, a fish which can survive in brackish water.  Edited book on ventriloquism and theology. Oversaw archival and copyright efforts. Palm Canyon Times/Palm Desert Times

Based on my son’s idea for an interactive, science fiction adventure series, Sound-Off 3000 was a break-through radio formal, involving a highly produced science fiction adventure (about ten minutes) which would break into a live conversation between children from the 31st century in their starship, Kangaroo, calling Earth’s twentieth century children in a technology given to Earth’s few survivors after the destruction of the solar system. The show was written by me, with my son’s in-puts- and produced by both of us, with the aid of a production engineer who had actually worked on the Green Hornet radio show on WOR. We had a great deal of local scholarship, with Barnes and Noble and Blockbuster Video contributing gifts.
