Jim Sheire
Jim Sheire, an experienced federal government cybersecurity expert, has been a driving force for innovation and change management at some of the most important government agencies. Mr. Sheire is currently the Branch Chief of the Quality Services Management Office (QSMO) at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). In this role, he oversees a pivotal center which aligns cybersecurity services in the federal government with high-quality standards and at reduced costs. He has spent most of his career working in the federal government, serving in important roles like Division Director, Identity Assurance and Trusted Access at the General Services Administration (GSA). Mr. Sheire has also worked as a Senior Advisor for the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC) at NIST, where he promoted a pathbreaking national identity management program. Prior to his career in the federal government, Mr. Sheire honed his skills in the private sector; he worked as a manager for government cybersecurity engagements at NXP Semiconductors and Philips Electronics, where he amplified his expertise on cybersecurity policies, strategies, and shared services. Mr. Sheire studied International Studies for his Master's degree at the University of Virginia and History at Reed College for his Bachelor's degree.
