Vijay Nikam is a seasoned software development professional with over 12 years of experience in the industry. He has spent around 8 years developing enterprise applications and products using Microsoft technologies and an additional 4 years working on mission-critical operating systems. With a strong background in pre-sales, product and technology evangelism, Vijay has held multiple roles such as Lead Solution Architect, Technical Pre-Sales Executive, Technical Lead, and Product Architect.

During his career, Vijay has been involved in numerous consulting assignments, including migration of SharePoint-based intranets, architecting and designing SharePoint-based intranets for large companies in the petrochemical and biotechnology sectors, and improving the performance of SharePoint and Silverlight-based products. Additionally, he has architected an Innovation Management product based on SharePoint 2010, which provides both in-premise and SAAS versions.

Through his work, Vijay has gained experience in project management and coordinating interactions among globally distributed teams. He is well-versed in CMMi practices and has been instrumental in establishing a SharePoint Center of Excellence by building Microsoft Certified Gold Partner relationships.

Vijay completed his BE in Computer Science at Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
