Sophie Winwood

Sophie Winwood is an accomplished Global Operations Manager with a rich background in the marketing and advertising industry. She has a proven track record in areas such as Facility Management, Training & Development, Office Management, Culture & Engagement, and Event Management.

Sophie pursued her education in Management and Marketing, earning a BSc Hons from Royal Holloway, University of London. Additionally, she completed her International Baccaleaureate at the International School of Geneva.

Throughout her career, Sophie Winwood has held prominent roles in various organizations. She currently serves as an Investment Principal at Anthemis Group. Previously, she was a Founding Member at Chief, an Investor at Twice Commerce, Balance Re, and several other ventures. Sophie also co-founded WVC:E and was involved in investment activities with companies like Humanising Autonomy, Opply, Kaiko, Ember, and Denim.

Aside from her investment roles, Sophie Winwood has showcased her expertise in partnership management and finance advisory. She has served as the Head of Partnerships at Innovate Finance, chaired TLA FinTech at Tech London Advocates & Global Tech Advocates, and has experience in membership and analytics management within the finance sector.

Before venturing into the finance and investment realm, Sophie Winwood honed her skills at Deloitte UK, where she worked in Corporate Finance Advisory as a Manager and in Audit focusing on Investment Management and Private Equity as an Assistant Manager.
