Georgia Tech graduate Seth Baer is making strides in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) as he applies deep learning techniques to real-world problems. He is highly motivated to enhance software systems with the power of machine learning, and has been studying programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, and MATLAB to achieve his goals. Seth has also engaged in university research on virtual reality, surgical simulation, deep learning and neurologically-inspired algorithms. Walmart currently employs Seth as a Data Engineer, whilst he has previously worked with Big Southern Software as a Drone Control/Vision Intern and as both a Research Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant for the University of Central Arkansas and Georgia Institute of Technology, respectively.
