Igor Kuprienko

Igor Kuprienko is an expert in regional economic development with more than 26 years of experience in cross-border EU-Russia cooperation. With a focus on multi-cultural inter-governmental projects, Kuprienko is well-versed in SME development, ICT technologies, fund-raising, and project management. Kuprienko's skills and expertise have been honed through his involvement in various mutual funded, international, and national projects.

Aside from his strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Kuprienko also holds a Diploma in Space Business and Management from the International Space University. His working knowledge of EU implementation processes and tools like PCM reiterates his capability to conduct high-level dialogues with Public Sector Organizations and Private Companies.

Kuprienko's impressive career includes his tenure as the Head of Project Development Division at ITMO University, CEO and Founder of Greater Metropolia Development Consulting, and Commercial Director at BioPharmos Group. He also served as the Director of the Russian Office at Wirma Lappeenranta Oy and a former Senior Expert of E-Skills for Russian SMEs, among others.
