Arthur Combs, PhD, is an accomplished managing partner at Schaffer&Combs with a diverse background in economic history, international relations and healthcare. Combs graduated from UC Davis with a degree in International Relations and went on to earn an MA with distinction in International History and a PhD in Economic History: The political economy of development in conflict zones at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Before his current role, Combs served as Executive Director at Tiba Foundation and Stone Research Foundation, where he made significant contributions to the growth and development of both organizations. He also worked as a consultant at Ed Roberts Campus and CEO at Source Healthcare Systems, where he provided leadership, strategic direction and vision. Additionally, Combs was a lecturer at San Francisco State University and began his career as a Commodities Broker at D.M. Combs & Co.

Combs' expertise spans various areas such as healthcare, economic development, strategic planning, business development and leadership.
