Heather Marx is a well-respected art advisor, curator, and gallery director with over 20 years of experience in the fine art industry. She has extensive expertise in contemporary art and assists with private and corporate art development and acquisition. Additionally, Marx produces curatorial projects and has participated in numerous exhibitions, panel discussions, and scholarship funding around the Bay Area.

Marx founded and co-owned Heather Marx Gallery/Marx & Zavattero, a prominent contemporary art gallery based in San Francisco for 12 years. In 2014, Marx launched Heather Marx Art Advisory, a comprehensive art consultant agency that services private and public collections nationwide and produces independent curatorial projects. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Art Advisors and has served on various advisory committees for contemporary art fairs.

Marx holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has also held various roles in the art world, including Adjunct Faculty at Diablo Valley College, Associate Director of Sales and Press Relations at Hackett-Freedman Gallery, Curatorial Assistant at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and Assistant Director at Mark Moore Gallery.
