James Wilson is a highly experienced software engineering generalist with a career spanning 15 years in the internet services industry. He has a strong emphasis on infrastructure and scalability of systems. Wilson studied BS, Computer Science, Mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University. After his tenure at Oracle as Principal Member of Technical Staff, Wilson worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook and People.ai. Presently, he is on sabbatical exploring topics in optoelectronics and power conversion systems. Wilson has advised Vytality Health and interned at Green Hills Software in the past. Though he is not seeking a full-time position at the moment, he is open to conversation with teams exploring the intersection of hardware and software systems.
