Meghana Kamdar is a seasoned expert in inclusionary housing and homeownership from the San Francisco Bay Area, with over a decade of experience in affordable housing, energy, and project management. She has a Master's degree in City, Regional Planning from Cornell University and a dual Bachelor's degree in Business-Economics and Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her previous roles include Program Director of a multicultural housing program in East Oakland and San Pablo/Richmond neighborhoods, Director of the Multilingual Homeownership Center at Lao Family Community Development, and leading the Below-Market Rate (BMR) Homeownership Program in Marin County. Kamdar is a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, analytical abilities relating to urban planning, and a strong sense of service. She leverages partnerships with community/industry leaders and policy experts to bridge across multiple stakeholders and interests. Kamdar has consulted on a variety of economic development and urban revitalization plans worldwide, including India, Panama, Guyana, and Bulgaria. She is the Founder of MKR Consulting and holds a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) and various other certifications.
