Karina Davila

Karina Davila is a seasoned professional in the field of user experience (UX) design, with a focus on enhancing human experiences and fostering just, safe, and fair services and products.

With a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from the School of Visual Arts, a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) from Barry University, and a strong educational background from Florida International University, Karina has a solid foundation in design and research.

Karina's career has seen her hold key positions in various organizations, including her current role as a Senior UX Designer at Thorn, where she contributes to making digital platforms safer.

Her past experiences include serving as an Adjunct Professor at Barry University, a Pathways to Equity Fellow at Open Architecture Collaborative, and as a Senior UX Designer and Researcher at Visa, where she focused on innovation and strategic partnerships in both North and Latin America.

Karina has also worked as a Design Researcher at Field and Studio Collective, a Design Fellow at the Office of Innovation at UNICEF, and in various graphic design roles at organizations like 92nd Street Y, High 5 Games, and Valencia College.
