Anant Jhingran is a highly accomplished technology executive with extensive experience leading and innovating at top technology companies. He is a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley and earned his Bachelor of Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Anant’s professional journey started at IBM, where he worked in multiple roles, including Director of Computer Science, Almaden Research Center and IBM Fellow, Vice President and CTO, Information Management. He went on to become CTO and Chief Data Officer at Apigee, which was later acquired by Google. During his tenure at Apigee, Anant led many product initiatives and helped make the company an industry leader in API management.

Anant is also an Independent Director on the Board of Persistent Systems and advises Datastax. Currently, Anant serves as the CEO of StepZen, a startup that makes it easier for developers to build and manage APIs. Throughout his career, Anant has published numerous papers and articles on topics such as data management, information integration, and cloud computing.
