Jigar Shah has an impressive background in mechanical engineering and process engineering at top companies such as Tesla, General Dynamics, Schneider Electric, and BW Container Systems. Shah earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the esteemed University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and also studied abroad at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet.
Currently, Shah is a Process Engineer in Core Technology at Tesla, where he is responsible for designing and implementing efficient processes that directly impact production, safety, and quality. Prior to this role, he served as a Process Engineer in Production Engineering, working to develop and maintain manufacturing processes for the Tesla Model S, X, and 3.
Before joining Tesla, Shah worked as a Mechanical Engineer for General Dynamics - Ordinance & Tactical Systems, where he designed, developed, and tested military equipment systems. He also worked as a Project Engineer for Schneider Electric, where he managed projects from conception through completion and led cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
With his strong background in engineering, Shah has expertise in process design and implementation, manufacturing processes, project management, and equipment systems development. He is also passionate about sustainability and innovation in the automotive industry.
