Kendra Seaman
Kendra Seaman, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Center for Vital Longevity at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her research focuses on promoting health and wellbeing in adulthood through basic and translational scientific studies. Dr. Seaman completed a BA in psychology and biology at The University of Kansas, and then joined Teach For America as a science teacher. She later obtained a Master's and PhD in Psychology from The Catholic University of America, and completed a postdoc at Yale and Duke Universities. Her specialties include cognitive aging, learning, motivation, and decision making, as well as science education at the middle school level. Dr. Seaman has also held positions at Georgetown University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, among others.
