Scott Fisher is an experienced Business and Technical Director with a focus on market analysis, business development, and research in the field of materials and chemical engineering. With a particular expertise in engineering thermoplastics, thermosets, and hybrid materials, he has a successful track record of commercializing new and innovative solutions. Possessing an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to open innovation, Scott is well-versed in working collaboratively with internal and external partners to bring profitable solutions to the industry.

Scott’s academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida. He has held various positions at SABIC, including Business Director of ULTEM and Additives, Director of Thermosets and Additives, and Program Manager for Noryl Process Technology, among others.

Currently, he is responsible for leading strategy and business development for a high-growth and technical product line in the thermoset industry. Over his career, Scott has worked effectively with teams spanning manufacturing and operations, sourcing, EHS, commercial sales, marketing, finance, corporate R&D, external partners, and university collaborations. His expertise and passion for identifying, developing, and commercializing new and innovative materials make him a valuable asset within the industry.
