Andy Young is a tech entrepreneur, growth marketer, and startup mentor. He studied Computer Science at the University of Oxford and founded the membership management platform GroupSpaces while still in school. After raising $2.5 million, Andy sold his company and went on to launch Stripe in the UK and Ireland. He grew the company to become the payment platform of choice for startups and major brands, and he eventually became the UK Country Lead. Andy also created the Selective Tweets app for Facebook, which has been used by over 1 million people. He has mentored startups at accelerators like Seedcamp, TechStars, and Oxygen, and he has given talks and led workshops at events such as WebSummit and Leanconf. He currently explores startup ideas at Lockdown Ventures and was formerly the Vice President of Oxford Entrepreneurs, the Entrepreneur in Residence at 500 Startups, and the VP Growth & Marketing at Entrepreneur First. Andy is an engineer at heart with expertise in growth marketing, product management, analytics, and tech strategy. He's also known for excelling in a crisis, making him a valuable asset to any team.
