Alex Thapar (he/him/his)

Alex Thapar, former Senior Vice President at The Bay Club Company, is the current General Manager of City Club LA at ClubCorp, the largest operator of private clubs nationwide with over 200 country clubs, city clubs, athletic clubs, and stadium clubs. Thapar studied Foreign Language Magnet at Venice High School and General Education at the University of London, before completing his B.S. in Business with a focus on Human Resource Management at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Thapar has an extensive background in hospitality, including roles as Guest Services Manager, Learning Coach, and Guest Reception Supervisor at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Before taking up his current role at ClubCorp, Thapar was also General Manager and Area Manager at The Bay Club Company and Fitness Manager and General Manager at Spectrum Athletic Clubs. Thapar's passion for bringing people together is evident in his pursuit of innovative experiences for members, and he has distinguished himself as a thought leader and seasoned executive in the hospitality industry.
