Afaf has held various roles in organizations, including being an Actor in areas like voiceover, commercials, roleplay, and theater, a Communications Consultant & Trainer, a Certified Trainer & Managing Partner in the MENA region, and a Communications Manager.

Additionally, she has served as an Instructor of Oral Communication and English, an Organizational Research Associate, a Research Associate for U.S./Middle East projects, and an Executive Assistant to the President.
