Maya Marin is an accomplished creative director and content strategist with diverse experience in marketing, copywriting, research, and content management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master of Arts in Anthropology and History from Queen's University Belfast, where she also worked as a research coordinator.

Maya has an established career in the arts and entertainment industry, having worked at prominent companies such as Semihandmade, Goldstar Events, Inc., Demand Media, Saatchi Art, Crash City Guides, Razorgator, and Ticketmaster, among others. Her versatility and expertise have garnered her recognition as a senior content manager, content director, editor-in-chief, and marketing content producer across various projects and campaigns.

At Semihandmade, Maya leads the creative division, overseeing a team of designers and writers to develop bespoke cabinet fronts and other home decor solutions. She has developed comprehensive content strategies that span multiple platforms, including social media, email marketing, and blogging, to increase engagement and drive sales.

As a writer, Maya has contributed to several publications, including Travel + Leisure, InStyle, and Angeleno Magazine, and has showcased her photography in group shows at the Cooper Design Space and Neutra Gallery. She frequently speaks at industry events and was recently a panelist at the 2021 Women in Design Summit.
