Dr. Paul McAndrews, a renowned hair restoration surgeon, is currently serving as the President of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and the Vice-President of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery. With several years of experience in the field, Dr. McAndrews is also on the Board of Governors of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and has served as the Chairman of various annual scientific meetings and board review courses for the society. In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. McAndrews is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology at USC School of Medicine, where he helps train future surgeons in the field of hair restoration.
Dr. McAndrews' expertise in hair restoration has led him to serve as a Senior Medical Advisor for Stemson Therapeutics, where he offers guidance and advice on the development of new hair growth products. Prior to his current positions, Dr. McAndrews ran his own practice, Paul J. McAndrews, MD Inc., and worked as a consultant for Merck, a global healthcare company.
Dr. McAndrews' accomplishments have led him to become a respected figure in the field of hair restoration surgery. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Doctor of Medicine from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, Dr. McAndrews has been able to bring a wealth of knowledge to his profession. Additionally, his experience as a Flight Surgeon at McClellan & Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA has enabled him to develop quick reflexes and decisive judgement.
