April Taylor, a graduate of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV) and Texas Christian University (TCU), has a strong academic background in government and business. Taylor graduated with a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Federal Government and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations. She maintains a GPA of 3.8 and 3.5 in both her graduate and undergraduate degrees, respectively.

During her time at UNLV, Taylor served as a Graduate Assistant and completed a fall internship at the Office of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Additionally, she was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, where she served as Vice President of Kappa Lambda. Taylor was an Entrepreneurial Management track BBA student at TCU.
