Hanna Gebretensae, an accomplished educator with an impressive academic background and extensive experience, has dedicated her career to improving the academic success of young children through mentoring, coaching, and community partnerships. With a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Early Childhood Education, both with high GPAs, from the University of Phoenix and Lesley University, respectively, and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration, Planning and Policy from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, Gebretensae has excelled in her academic pursuits.

With expertise in Early Childhood Education, Bilingual Education, Cultural Competency, Higher Education, and Antil-bias and Diversity Training, Gebretensae has held various leadership roles in different organizations, including Director of the Eliot-Pearson Children’s School/Laboratory School at Tufts University, Consultant at Self E, Director of Early Childhood Programs at Wheelock College's Aspire Institute, and Academic Dean at the Urban College of Boston. Along with teaching Dual/Multilingual Learners and compelling family and community engagement, Gebretensae has significant experience in program evaluation, assessment, and university-community partnerships.

Through the many positions she has held, Gebretensae has equipped herself with the expertise to provide documentation and assessment, curriculum and instruction, and educational leadership to any organization that values excellence and positive outcomes.
