Lisa Parker is a seasoned philanthropic professional with over 30 years of experience in the field. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work, having served as the President and Executive Director of the Lawrence Welk Family Foundation for over 20 years. Lisa is also the Founder and Principal of Family Circle Advisors, a consultancy that provides multi-generational engagement, transfer of leadership, governance, effective grantmaking and legacy planning to philanthropic families in the US and Latin America.
Lisa is passionate about raising philanthropic children and promoting youth philanthropy. She has developed innovative programs that engage multiple generations of the Welk family in addressing poverty and promoting the youth giving movement. Her work in this area has become a model for the field, earning her certification by 21/64 as a multi-generational adviser to families.
In addition to her work with philanthropic families, Lisa serves as an advisor and board member to several organizations devoted to building the philanthropic sector. She is a member of the Board of Directors at the National Center for Family Philanthropy and has also served on the board of the USC Center on Philanthropy and Public Policy.
