Diogo Mónica is a renowned security engineer, founder, and angel investor with an impressive background in computer science. Holding a Ph.D. in Network Security, an MSc in Communication Networks Engineering, and a BSc in Communication Networks Engineering - all from the Instituto Superior Técnico - he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his various roles.
Mr. Mónica co-founded Anchorage, an innovative company providing cryptocurrency custody services to institutional clients. He also served as a Security Lead at Docker, where he worked on container and orchestration subsystem security infrastructure used globally. During his time at Square, he led the platform security team, building the security infrastructure responsible for processing $80B in annualized volume.
Beyond his professional commitment to the tech industry, Mónica is an accomplished public speaker, sought-after for keynotes and lectures on topics such as usable security, infrastructure security, and distributed system security.
