Sam Shank is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader in the travel industry. He is currently the Head of Commercial Team at Airbnb, after the company acquired his previous startup, HotelTonight, where he served as the CEO. Prior to that, Sam founded several other travel-related ventures, including DealBase.com, a travel deals search engine, and TravelPost.com, a hotel reviews site.

Sam’s expertise in the hospitality industry has made him a valuable asset for Airbnb, where he has held several roles in hotels and guest experience division. With an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a BA from the University of Virginia, Sam has a strong educational background in business. In addition to his work in the tech and travel industries, Sam has a passion for film, having worked as an assistant to Wes Craven on the set of "Scream”.
