Uwe Diegel, a former concert pianist turned medical diagnostics expert, has an impressive career in the healthcare industry. He has a Bachelor's degree in Music and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Cape Town. After an accident limited movement in his right arm, Diegel turned his interests to medical diagnostics and the medical manufacturing industry. His expertise lies in blood pressure management, diabetes, asthma, and medical diagnostic devices.
Diegel currently resides in Paris, France, where he runs HealthWorks Global and LifeInA. He has held various positions in the healthcare industry, including CEO of iHealthLabs Europe, CEO of HealthWorks France, and Founder and President of MICROLIFE AFRICA. Additionally, he serves as a board advisor at healthbank.
Diegel's passion for innovation and manufacturing in the healthcare industry led him to develop new technologies for managing chronic diseases such as hypertension, asthma, and diabetes. He is also a collector of medical antiques.
His latest project, LifeInA, is a medical research endeavor that aims to improve the quality of life for diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer's patients, among others. Diegel believes that technology can improve the quality of healthcare and is working to bring innovative and affordable solutions to the masses.
