Geoffrey Odlum is a former U.S. diplomat with 28 years of experience in national security and international affairs, who now serves as a global affairs consultant. He has served in various locations around the world, including London, Algiers, Istanbul, Vienna, Baghdad, Kabul, and Washington. With a strong leadership background, he has directed offices of 30+ staff, managed teams in dangerous environments, and mentored future leaders. Geoffrey has led negotiations on sensitive nonproliferation agreements and oversaw foreign assistance programs valued at $7 million. He is an expert in nuclear nonproliferation, emerging technologies, counter-terrorism, crisis management, Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan, European security, and energy geopolitics. With extensive experience in diplomatic and national security expertise, Geoffrey helps governments, foundations, companies, and non-profits build enduring partnerships, forecast and leverage emergent opportunities, and solve complex challenges. He is also a Distinguished Graduate of the National War College and a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
