Murat Tonga is a highly accomplished Senior Research Scientist with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and more than five years of industrial experience in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and material science. With a strong track record of scientific achievement in academic research and industrial R&D, he has 17 publications in peer-reviewed journals and one patent application to his name.

Murat studied for his bachelor's and master's degrees in Chemistry at Bogazici University, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at Bogazici University Chemistry Department, an Intern at the Turkish Standards Institution - Petrochemical Lab, an Intern at Bogazici University-Polymer Research Lab, and an Intern at Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation.

As a Senior Research Scientist at Polnox Corporation, Murat has designed, implemented and executed effective R&D plans for new products, from idea generation through development, including laboratory scale synthesis, formulation development, application testing, and process development and scale-up. Murat is a highly skilled and experienced chemist, with expertise in organic and polymer chemistry, material science, and research and development.
