James Dumont is a transportation and advanced energy funding and regulatory strategist with a passion for revolutionizing sustainable transportation on both land and water. He has worked on behalf of public agencies, startups, and Fortune 500 companies as a Technical Writer at The Grant Farm, Marketing Copywriter at Ebates, and Law Clerk at Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection, among other positions.
Dumont has a Bachelor's Degree in Global Studies and Maritime Affairs from California Maritime Academy and studied Juris Doctor in Admiralty, Maritime, and Environmental Law at Tulane University Law School. He has extensive knowledge and experience in areas such as transportation electrification, cleantech and bluetech, renewable energy, policy initiatives and analysis, carbon markets, power markets and regulation, logistics infrastructure, and public funding and project finance.
Dumont's organizational experience includes being a member of Tulane Maritime Law Journal, Vol. 38, and a student tutor at California Maritime Academy. He has also worked as an intern at NRG EVgo, New Orleans City Attorney's Office, and Nevada County District Attorney's Office, as well as a Sales Associate at JCPenney and part-time legal assistant at Law Offices of Sandra Stanley.
