David Shaffer is a seasoned software executive with over 30 years of experience in enterprise software organizations. He has co-founded Pipe17, a logistics and transportation integration startup, and previously worked at Workato, where he led pre-sales, professional services, and training initiatives for cloud-native integration platforms. David has a strong background in IT strategy consulting, solution architecture, SOA training and assessments, middleware, and Integration. He was acquired into Oracle through the acquisition of Collaxa, where he was responsible for product management for all of Oracle's SOA, BPM, and Governance products, including Oracle SOA Suite, Service Bus, Enterprise Repository, BPM Suite, BPEL Process Manager, BAM, Adapters, B2B, Business Rules, ESB, and UPK. David has a BS in Computer Engineering and an MA in Computer Science, as well as experience managing technical and product management teams. He has also served in various roles at NeXT and Apple, the University of Vermont, and Integrated Computer Solutions.
