Matthew Rose is a social justice advocate and an influential leader in the healthcare industry. He holds a degree in Ethnic Studies and Political Science from the University of Oregon and has studied at The George Washington University. Throughout his professional career, he has demonstrated his deep commitment to ensuring health equity and access for everyone. Rose was the Director of US Policy and Advocacy at Health GAP (Global Access Project) and was a Community Co-Chair at Microbicide Trial Network. He has also served as the Policy and Advocacy Manager at NMAC, the Program Coordinator at The Black AIDS Institute, and the Principal of King Rose Consulting. Rose is currently the Director at Global Health Strategies. He has worked extensively in the LGBTQ+ community, having previously held positions at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalist Association and the National Coalition for LGBT Health. Matthew Rose is a transformative leader who believes that healthcare is a vehicle for social justice and utilizes health as a means to achieve social justice.
