Michael Konomos is a highly experienced and skilled Medical Illustrator with a passion for creating beautiful designs that revolutionize the way medical education is taught, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. For over thirteen years, he has worked at two academic medical centers, where he developed his expertise in research, educational, and clinical endeavors. Currently, he is employed at Emory University School of Medicine and is responsible for overseeing Medical Illustration throughout the institution, while still being actively involved in production work. Michael holds a Master of Science in Medical Illustration/Medical Illustrator, which he earned at the Medical College of Georgia after studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Scientific Illustration at The University of Georgia. He is also on the Board of Governors of the Association of Medical Illustrators.
